So I’ve been keeping a little secret, and I’m just dying to share it with all of you!! 🙂 🙂🙂 Last week I had the opportunity to work with the amazing Joshua Bryan Cinema on a promotional film for my floral and event design business, and today I am so excited to reveal it officially on my blog and website!! 🙂
There were several purposes behind this project, but one was that I wanted to share more about myself beyond a headshot and a short “About Me” section on my website. “Meeting” me in this short film really allows the viewers to listen to me, get to know my personality and hear a little bit about me as a person and a business owner! I also wanted to be able to share some “behind-the-scenes” shots of myself and how my typical floral design process looks, and what better way to show that then through a beautiful video?! The heart behind CIE was important for me to articulate in this video, and this film truly captures the “why” behind what I do, and some reasons that I love wedding floral design and creating meaningful relationships (and friendships) with my brides! I am so blessed to be able to do this for a living, and almost every day I wake up and think “Is this real life?!” Being able to play with flowers as my career is amazing, and I love being able to share that with my brides and bring some additional meaning and beauty to their wedding days. As a small business owner, and the “face” of Courtney Inghram Events & Floral Design, it’s so important to me that brides know who I am and that they know my heart and passion for making their wedding day an absolutely, flower-filled beautiful reflection of their own love stories. This video speaks to all of those things and then more.
Also, I owe a special thank you to Kara Waggoner Make Up Artistry LLC, and Event Hair by Lauren for getting me “camera-ready”, Ashton Creek Vineyard in Chesterfield, Virginia for hosting us at your beautiful winery, Paisley & Jade and Rent-E-Quip inc. for the amazing rental items, Letterlyn Studio for the pretty paperie, Lauren Simmons Photography for the amazing pictures, the models who were our “bride and groom” and of course, my husband, Jason, for being so supportive and helpful (and he makes an appearance with a special guest in this video, haha!) Each wedding I design for is truly a team effort, and each of these wonderful vendors based here in Richmond, and Hampton Roads, Virginia, were so lovely to work with on this project! I will share more on the process and more photos from this “video shoot” soon, but for now, here is the full film! Enjoy!! 🙂
