We had a beautiful August day for Hope Taylor Photography’s workshop styled shoot in Fredericksburg, Virginia, alongside some amazing wedding vendors! So many beautiful shades of pink came together for a stunning ombre look at this workshop – I was so excited about the “floating” wedding cake displays, which just overflowed with gorgeous summer blooms, and the lovely floral garland tablescape. For flowers, we used lots of fluffy peonies, ranunculus, hydrangeas, garden roses, and even some sweet summer tulips! The silk ribbon in the bridal bouquet was our classic O’Hara Blush – such a sweet shade to complement the gorgeous pink flowers. Of course, I was super excited for the chance to see some of The Collection in action! The tablescape for the shoot featured the beautiful Isla charger, Aveline plates, modern white-dipped flatware, and Cielo glasses. It all looked amazing with the lovely floral table linens and spectacular outdoor setting at the Stevenson Ridge venue!

Being a part of my photographer friends’ workshops is always such a fun experience, because the styled shoots have the great purpose of teaching other wedding photographers how to take better photos and hone their photography skills! The shoots are full of amazing, thoughtful details, and I’m always blown away by the talents of the participants and workshop attendees. Dear Sweetheart Events did such a wonderful job planning the shoot, and the other vendors we collaborated with were incredible! Hope, of course, was phenomenal at capturing the details and teaching all her lovely attendees. I had the absolute best time hanging out with everyone!
