We had a beautiful August day for Hope Taylor Photography’s workshop styled shoot in Fredericksburg, Virginia, alongside some amazing wedding vendors! So many beautiful shades of pink came together for a stunning ombre look at this workshop – I was so excited about the “floating” wedding cake displays, which just overflowed with gorgeous summer blooms, and the lovely floral garland tablescape. For flowers, we used lots of fluffy peonies, ranunculus, hydrangeas, garden roses, and even some sweet summer tulips! The silk ribbon in the bridal bouquet was our classic O’Hara Blush – such a sweet shade to complement the gorgeous pink flowers. Of course, I was super excited for the chance to see some of The Collection in action! The tablescape for the shoot featured the beautiful Isla charger, Aveline plates, modern white-dipped flatware, and Cielo glasses. It all looked amazing with the lovely floral table linens and spectacular outdoor setting at the Stevenson Ridge venue!

Morgan and Duke had a gorgeous June wedding day at the Historic Post Office in Hampton, Virginia! The Historic Post Office is one of my favorite places. I absolutely LOVE this unique venue, with its vaulted ceilings, sweeping curtains, dramatic balconies, and overall elegant feel! For their wedding, Morgan and Duke envisioned a classic, romantic color palette of blush and dusty rose with plenty of garden-inspired greenery. To bring their vision to life, we used lots of garden roses, ranunculus, spirea, and lisianthus astilbe. The spirea gave the bouquets such a sweet, ethereal texture, and of course the flowers smelled amazing! The Morgan’s bridal bouquet was tied off with our Cappuccino silk ribbon, which was a stunning complement to her gorgeous lace wedding dress!

Karim and Elizabeth were married in a beautiful elopement at the National Gallery of Art, the Library of Congress, and the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC. It was a lovely winter day in the city, and the pictures are simply amazing – the dramatic stone architecture at each setting gave the day such an elegant feel! Karim and Elizabeth envisioned a sleek, modern backdrop for their intimate ceremony, with a dramatic pop of florals amid neutral colors. To bring their vision to life, we used white anemones, ranunculus, lisianthus, and a mix of spray and garden roses with dark greenery, which provided gorgeous visual interest against Elizabeth’s elegant gray dress!

Emily and Colter were married on a gorgeous spring day at the Foundry Golf Club in Powhatan, Virginia! The venue was the perfect place for a romantic outdoor wedding, with its historic stone building and lovely garden surroundings – such a gorgeous backdrop for bridal portraits! For their wedding, Emily and Colter envisioned a sophisticated color palette of blush and gold with lush natural greenery. To bring their vision to life, we used lots of peonies, garden roses, and ranunculus, along with beautiful eucalyptus greenery. The combination of flowers smelled incredible! Bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids were tied off with our hand-dyed silk ribbon in Playa Blanca; the flowing ribbons looked amazing against the beautiful blush bridesmaid dresses. Emily’s beautiful lace wedding gown stole the show, however, and her floral hairpiece was the perfect accent. She was a stunning bride!
