Karim and Elizabeth were married in a beautiful elopement at the National Gallery of Art, the Library of Congress, and the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC. It was a lovely winter day in the city, and the pictures are simply amazing – the dramatic stone architecture at each setting gave the day such an elegant feel! Karim and Elizabeth envisioned a sleek, modern backdrop for their intimate ceremony, with a dramatic pop of florals amid neutral colors. To bring their vision to life, we used white anemones, ranunculus, lisianthus, and a mix of spray and garden roses with dark greenery, which provided gorgeous visual interest against Elizabeth’s elegant gray dress!
After taking pictures at the National Gallery of Art and Library of Congress, Karim and Elizabeth spoke their vows to each other on the steps of the Jefferson Memorial with the monument’s columns and the Tidal Basin in the background. Their intimate, romantic ceremony was so beautiful and so perfect for this amazing couple! It was incredible to work with them and such a joy to create their wedding blooms! The wedding day was photographed by Sarah Street Photography, who did an amazing job as always, and Elizabeth’s beautiful hair and makeup were done by Amie Decker Beauty. Enjoy these beautiful pictures of their day!
