Brett and Brooke enjoyed the perfect June weather for their lovely wedding day at the Independence Golf Club, near Richmond, Virginia! Independence is such a beautiful venue, and golf course was such a beautiful and pristine location for the outdoor ceremony! Brooke and Brett were such a special couple for me to work with, since they are dear friends as well as clients! Brett went to college with my husband Jason, and even were roommates for a year, so it was an honor to be asked to be a part of their wedding by designing their flowers! These two are the definition of joyful- they exude happiness and love, and they are the type of people that you just always want to be around because hanging out with them lights you up! Their love for each other is so evident, and it was such a honor to witness them commit their lives to continue loving and serving each other! Their wedding vision was “bringing the outside in”, and they wanted their guests to feel like they were dancing the night away under the stars outside, and we brought that to life in the reception space with whimsical greenery chandeliers and hanging glass terrariums and candles! With their wedding being in June, we used lots of peonies in the arrangements, as well as garden roses, ranunculus and eucalyptus greens! Brooke’s and the bridesmaids bouquets were all filled with these blooms and they all smelled SO good! Brooke’s wedding dress was absolutely beautiful, with the most exquisite lace detailing, and she paired it with a beautiful long veil, which was complimented by the light sky blue bridesmaid dresses- so pretty!! Their wedding day was photographed by Anna Kardos Photography, who did such a wonderful job, and we loved working with the amazing team at the Independence Golf Club for their wedding as well! Scroll to the end of this post for a list of all the vendors who brought Brooke and Brett’s wedding day to life- and enjoy! ๐Ÿ™‚

Alexandra and Hayden had the most beautiful and joyous wedding day at Westover Plantation, in Charles City, Virginia. The plantation is situated right on the water, and thy have the most beautiful grounds and gardens you can walk through, and a lovely horse stable, right near where the sailcloth tent was situated. The very first time I talked to Ali, I knew we would have an amazing time working together- she and Luciana, with Luxe and Luna Event Design, had dreamed up a mauve and dusty rose wedding design, with lots of thoughtful and unique details. With their wedding being at the end of March, there were SO many gorgeous early springtime blooms available, including hellebore, garden roses, lisianthus, lilac, sweet pea, and more!

Stephanie and Tom had a sunshine-filled, joyous wedding day at a new venue to me- the Inn at Westwood Farm, near Charlottesville. It was the most charming bed and breakfast, nestled in the rolling hills of Virginia, and the property was absolutely lovely- perfect for an intimate outdoor wedding! The very first time I talked to Stephanie, she described her wedding as being southern-inspired, with a peach, light blue and white color palette, and I just loved working with her to bring her vision to life! Stephanie’s bouquet was full of the best springtime blooms, including garden roses, lilac, ranunculus, tweedia and more, paired with greenery, and it was the perfect compliment to her beautiful wedding day look! The ceremony focal point was our classic wooden arbor, with a natural floral arrangement on the top and cascading down to both sides, and it was filled with coordinating blooms, including delphinium and garden roses, with natural greenery like blackberry and honeysuckle vine, and more! The reception area was outside, with lovely industrial-style exposed farm tables, string lights and wooden planter boxes filled with blooms for an intimate and natural feel. Their wedding day was photographed by Corrin Jasinski Photography who did such a wonderful job, and scroll to the end of this post for a list of all the vendors who brought Stephanie and Tom’s wedding day to life- and enjoy! ๐Ÿ™‚

Maegan and Andrew enjoyed a lovely wedding day, at one of the most beautiful wedding venues ever, Early Mountain Vineyard, in Charlottesville. Their early March wedding was filled with cozy, romantic details, as a perfect way to close out the winter season, and Early Mountain is such a beautiful spot for a winter wedding, with the two roaring fireplaces and twinkling candlelight. Their wedding ceremony and reception were inside, and the simple, yet elegant style of design, filled with neutral flowers and greenery, that Maegan was drawn to, was an absolutely beautiful compliment to the space! Centerpieces were low arrangements filled with lots of textured white flowers and greenery, and the head table was designed with a eucalyptus greenery garland lining the middle, with pops of blooms throughout!

Makenna and Mitchell had a lovely wedding day at one of my favorite Hampton Roads wedding venues, the Historic Post Office, in Hampton, Virginia! Their December wedding had a winter-y and romantic feel, and Makenna envisioned burgundy, white, blush and navy flowers, with greenery, and the contrast looked perfect against the emerald green bridesmaid dresses, and paired with her gorgeous wedding gown! The bouquets were full of garden roses, anemones, ranunculus, privet berries and more winter blooms, with a variety of textured greenery. The ceremony focal point was a beautiful wooden cross, with flowers in the center, which was such a special and unique touch to their intimate wedding! The day was photographed by Molly Lichten Photography who did such a wonderful job, and I also loved working alongside Hannah Hildebrandt Events, who coordinated all the details perfectly! Rachel and Mike had the perfect wedding day at one of my absolute favorite wedding venues, Early Mountain Vineyard, in Charlottesville. The very first time I talked to Rachel and Mike was over a Skype call, and I just immediately loved both of them and how down to earth and fun they both were! Throughout the planning process, I was able to meet Rachel’s sister and mom too, and we even got to meet up for coffee just to catch up!! I’m so happy that I was able to design their wedding flowers, and that we became frinds!! Early Mountain so beautiful in the fall, and Rachel and Mike had their ceremony outside and had the gorgeous Charlottesville mountain views as a backdrop to many of their lovely portraits!! Rachel envisioned white and green flowers, with pops of burgundy, and dusty blue, her accent color! The bridesmaids wore that beautiful dusty blue shade, which was such a lovely contrast to their white and burgundy bouquets, and Rachel’s bouquet was full of some of my favorite blooms, including ranunculus, peonies, garden roses, anemones and more! The ceremony focal point was a natural birchwood chuppah, with whimsical greenery designed on it and lovely fabric draping.
