Brittany and Jason had an absolutely beautiful August wedding day at Early Mountain Vineyards, near Charlottesville, Virginia! Early Mountain is one of my absolute favorite wedding venues in the Charlottesville area- in the summertime, the outdoor ceremony space is full of white blooming hydrangea bushes, and the neutral indoor space always looks so beautiful accented with natural greenery and an abundance of candlelight. Brittany and Jason envisioned a vibrant, fall-inspired wedding color palette, with shades of burgundy, golden bronze and burnt apricot, paired with greenery, including eucalyptus and my summer favorite- hops!! To bring their vision to life, we used lots of garden roses, ranunculus, dahlias, deep red anemones, and more- it was so much fun to work with color!!

Yasmin and Matt had a lovely August wedding day at the Salamander Resort, in Middleburg, Virginia! The Salamander is the most gorgeous venue, right in the middle of Virginia’s horse country, surrounded by gentle, rolling hills. Yasmin and Matt envisioned a neutral and classic wedding color palette, with shades of white and ivory, with greenery, and it accented the venue perfectly! To bring their vision to life, we used lots of garden roses, ranunculus, dahlias, lisianthus and more- everything smelled SO good!! We tied off the bouquets in our creamy Playa Blanca silk ribbon, and it was the perfect compliment to the BHDLN bridesmaid dresses, and Yasmin’s stunning wedding dress!! Their ceremony arch was filled with blooms and draped with fabric at the top, to mimic a chuppah, with the sofreh created by Yasmin’s mom in front, was one of my favorite parts of the day, and a special way to honor both of their heritages and families! Also, it was so fun seeing both Y & M’s adorable doggies dressed up in floral collars- so cute 🙂 Their wedding day was photographed by Anna Kardos Photography, who did such a wonderful job, and we enjoyed working with the Blush Events team and the staff at the Salamander Resort! These two are just the sweetest couple, and it was such a joy and honor to be a part of their wedding day! Nila and Haiig were married in June at the beautiful Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Virginia! Stone Tower is such a lovely venue, with so much natural light pouring into the reception space, and large patios overlooking the vineyard with rolling hills and sweeping views- so romantic! Nila and Haiig chose a color palette of whites and blushes, paired with pops of light pink and coral, and I loved using our hand-dyed silk ribbon streamers in blush and cafe au lait to tie off the bouquets and compliment all the gorgeous dresses! To bring their vision to life, we used lots of fluffy peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, and more- everything smelled SO good!! Nila’s wedding dress was absolutely breathtaking, with the romantic lace giving it such an elegant style, and it looked so lovely paired with the blush colored BHLDN bridesmaid dresses! Their wedding day was photographed by Anna Kardos Photography, who did such a wonderful job, and we loved working with the team at Blush Events and Stone Tower Winery as well! Nila and Haiig two are just the sweetest, and it was such a joy and honor to be a part of their wedding day! Bethany and Jeff were married the first weekend of April this year, and we were surprised with snow on their wedding day! 🙂 There was no better venue to cozy up and enjoy this last winter snow than at Early Mountain Vineyard, with its roaring fireplaces, twinkling Edison Bulb lighting, and inviting indoor space! Bethany and Jeff’s classic blush and white color palette, paired with greenery was perfect for their early spring wedding, and I love how the flowers coordinated with the beautiful blush bridesmaid dresses! To bring their floral design vision to life, we used lots of blush ranunculus, garden roses, snowberries, spray roses and a mix of eucalyptus greens- everything smelled SO good!! The reception was filled with greenery garlands and a mix of candles, using gold votives and a variety of pillar candles- the effect was so soft and romantic, perfect for an early spring wedding! Their wedding day was photographed by Bethany Snyder Photography, who did such a wonderful job, and we loved working alongside Helen and her amazing team at The Local Catering and the amazing ladies at Early Mountain as well! Bethany was such a joy to work with, and her and Jeff are such a sweet couple- it was such an honor to be a part of their wedding day! Jane and Red enjoyed a beautiful July wedding day filled with sunshine and a mountain breeze, in Lexington, Virginia, at one of my favorite venues, Big Spring Farm! Big Spring is such a lovely spot for a summer wedding, with mountain views, water views, and a gorgeous natural barn for the reception! Red and Jane’s classic dusty blush and white color palette, paired with greenery was the perfect color scheme for their summertime wedding (it’s forever a favorite of mine!), and I loved how our Gardenia silk ribbons popped off the different styles of bridesmaid dresses! To bring their floral design vision to life, we used lots of garden roses, ranunculus, cafe au lait dahlias, astilbe, stock and and lots of greens- everything smelled SO good!! Their wedding day was photographed by Alisandra Photography, who did such a wonderful job, and we loved working alongside Kat, and her amazing team at Dear Sweetheart Events, and Big Spring Farm as well! Jane and Red are such a sweet, down-to-earth couple, and it was such a joy and honor to be a part of their wedding day, and celebrate them! We have even had the opportunity to hang out with Jane and Red after the wedding day too- my absolute favorite is when my clients turn into our friends- so fun! 🙂 Scroll to the end of this post for a list of all the vendors who brought Jane and Red’s wedding day to life, and enjoy scrolling through their wedding photos!

Ali and Nathan had a beautiful June wedding day filled with sunshine at Upper Shirley Vineyards, in Charles City, Virginia. Upper Shirley is such a beautiful venue, with a ceremony space overlooking the water, a lovely outdoor patio space for cocktail hour, and a stunning, elegant indoor space! This unique wedding color palette is definitely a new favorite of mine!! Shades of purple, mauve, lilac, lavender and pops of dark wine paired with greenery, were the colors as a nod to JMU, where Ali and Nathan met and where their love story began. I especially loved that since I am a JMU alum too (Go Dukes!!) To bring their vision to life, we used lots of garden roses, ranunculus, lilac, sweet peas, stock and more- everything smelled SO good!! Ali’s wedding dress was absolutely beautiful, with such a classic and elegant style, and it looked so lovely paired with the wisteria colored bridesmaid dresses- so pretty!! To pull the wisteria shade into Ali’s look, we tied off her bouquet in our mauve-lavender toned “Secret Garden” silk ribbon, and it was a perfect match to the bridesmaid dresses. Their wedding day was photographed by Fowler Studios, who did such a wonderful job, and we loved working with the amazing team at Shelby White Events, and Upper Shirley Vineyards as well! These two are just the sweetest, and it was such a joy and honor to be a part of their wedding day!
