Flower crowns are one of my favorite things ever! Pair that with fun ladies, Tianna at Yours Truly Portraiture and lots of sweet snacks and drinks, and you have yourself an amazing flower crown design party! We had a blast a few weeks ago at Cupcakes, Crowns, and Cocktails, a flower crown workshop held at the Studio at Chelsea Commons in Chesapeake! We had such an awesome time creating flower crowns together, while enjoying laughs and hilarious stories, and all the pretty details were captured beautifully by Tianna! Thanks so much to each of the girls who joined in- I enjoyed being able to share my love of flowers with each of you, and you all did a phenomenal job with your flower crowns! ๐Ÿ™‚

Julia and Justin had the most magical of wedding days, back on a gorgeous fall day at King Family Vineyards! The weather was absolutely perfect, and guests enjoyed a beautiful view while watching J&J say their vows ๐Ÿ™‚ Julia dreamed of a romantic, woodland wedding theme and organic details like using moss, vintage books and cloches for the centerpieces and lush greenery contrasted with rose gold. I used garden roses, snowberries, ranunculus, stock, and lots of greenery like eucalyptus to give the flowers a fresh-picked garden-inspired look! The end result was absolutely stunning, and she was such a happy and radiant bride! I was so honored to design her flowers for her, and so lucky to call her my friend! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you so much Rebecca Keeling Studios for sharing these images with me! The rest of the vendor team is listed below- enjoy! ๐Ÿ™‚

Confession: I manage SO many aspects of my business right from my iPhone! Obviously technology has totally revolutionized the way small businesses get stuff done, and I am a total believer in going “paperless”! Using apps on my phone helps me stay connected (and productive) while I’m on the go. I thought today I would share some of the apps that keep me working and help me check tasks off my to-do list without ever opening my computer! And as a disclaimer, this post is not sponsored by any of these companies- I just truly enjoy using each of these apps! Enjoy!

Kayla and Andrew were married on a beautiful October day last fall in Chesapeake, Virginia, and had the most lovely, whimsical wedding! Their color palette of mauve, white and blush was gorgeous, and one of my favorites of the year- it’s so fun to work with more unique color palettes. Kayla wanted lots of textural blooms, like dahlias, ranunculus and scabiosa paired with romantic garden roses and eucalyptus greenery for the florals, and I adore the way they all looked at her wedding! ๐Ÿ™‚ Another fun part for me was making those adorable succulent boutonnieres- LOVE!! I loved working with these two sweethearts; they had such a lovely and heartfelt day. Enjoy these beautiful photos from Erin Daniel Photography, and be sure to show some love to the entire vendor team listed below!
