Morgan and Duke had a gorgeous June wedding day at the Historic Post Office in Hampton, Virginia! The Historic Post Office is one of my favorite places. I absolutely LOVE this unique venue, with its vaulted ceilings, sweeping curtains, dramatic balconies, and overall elegant feel! For their wedding, Morgan and Duke envisioned a classic, romantic color palette of blush and dusty rose with plenty of garden-inspired greenery. To bring their vision to life, we used lots of garden roses, ranunculus, spirea, and lisianthus astilbe. The spirea gave the bouquets such a sweet, ethereal texture, and of course the flowers smelled amazing! The Morgan’s bridal bouquet was tied off with our Cappuccino silk ribbon, which was a stunning complement to her gorgeous lace wedding dress!

Makenna and Mitchell had a lovely wedding day at one of my favorite Hampton Roads wedding venues, the Historic Post Office, in Hampton, Virginia! Their December wedding had a winter-y and romantic feel, and Makenna envisioned burgundy, white, blush and navy flowers, with greenery, and the contrast looked perfect against the emerald green bridesmaid dresses, and paired with her gorgeous wedding gown! The bouquets were full of garden roses, anemones, ranunculus, privet berries and more winter blooms, with a variety of textured greenery. The ceremony focal point was a beautiful wooden cross, with flowers in the center, which was such a special and unique touch to their intimate wedding! The day was photographed by Molly Lichten Photography who did such a wonderful job, and I also loved working alongside Hannah Hildebrandt Events, who coordinated all the details perfectly! Celia and Clint’s beautiful blush wedding was definitely a highlight of my year! When I first talked with Celia, I just KNEW that we were going to be friends, and I absolutely loved working with her throughout the design process! She is so upbeat and cheerful, and when she told me she was a nurse I could just see her sharing her sweet smile and positivity with all of her patients each day!! Celia dreamed of feminine and blush florals, full of garden roses, peonies, eucalyptus, ranunculus and more!! Her bridal bouquet was so fluffy and perfect, and I loved that she wanted blush silk ribbon streamers for each bridesmaid bouquet (and hers) to complete the look!! The Historic Post Office was the perfect setting for Celia and Clint’s wedding, and from when I first saw Celia and her girls sipping on some bubbly in the bridal suite, to when they were preparing to walk down the aisle, the whole day was full of smiles and laughter!! I even got to take a photo with the bride, as I gave Celia her bouquet!! (Scroll to the end for that!) Each detail was so beautiful and I absolutely loved Celia’s gorgeous wedding dress- she looked like a princess!! I always LOVE working with Audrey Rose Photography, and she captured each moment throughout the day perfectly! I was so honored that Celia and Clint chose me to design their flowers, and I absolutely loved working with them both! I was honored to design the flowers for the most recent Audrey Rose Photography workshop, hosted in Hampton, Virginia at the Historic Post Office! When Audrey and Kelsey first asked me to be a part of this shoot, they described it as southern, neutral and full of lush greenery and gorgeous details, and I was SO excited to be part of the vendor team! Every single detail was absolutely exquisite, and I love the way that their design came to life so beautifully! The attendees at the workshop were definitely in for a visual treat, and I’m sure they all enjoyed learning from Audrey as they photographed the shoot. The Historic Post Office is one of my very favorite venues to work at, and I love how it lends a perfectly neutral backdrop to the photos, and is so elegant and classy! Some of the flowers I included in the designs were Japanese sweet pea, hellebore, garden roses, ranunculus, Jasmine vine, foraged dogwood, and pops of magnolia leaves. Enjoy these gorgeous photos by Audrey and see below for the list of all the participating vendors!

Aaliyah and Shane were married a few weekends ago at the beautiful Historic Post Office, in downtown Hampton, Virginia. They were the winners of the Beautiful Beginnings Wedding Giftaway that we hosted last year, along with an amazing team of vendors, who all joined forces to give away a free wedding! Aaliyah and Shane’s love story captured all of our hearts, (get to know them in this blog post) and I loved being able to design their flowers for their wedding day!
