Meghan and Zach had an absolutely beautiful wedding at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, one of my favorite wedding venues in Hampton Roads! They were married on a rainy July day, but luckily with a great venue like the Botanical Gardens, their wedding ceremony was easily transferred indoors, and it was SO lovely! From the first time I talked with Meghan, I just knew we would be friends! She is a teacher, a puppy mom, and a lover of succulents, all some of my own favorite things too 🙂 She envisioned neutral flowers, in shades of white with varying types of greenery and succulents. We used flowers like garden roses, veronica, stock, and more to give the bouquets and arrangements a textured, whimsical look. I also tied off their bouquets in dupioni grey silk ribbon streamers, and Meghan’s bouquet was seriously one of my most favorite I’ve ever designed (and it smelled heavenly)!! Their wedding day was photographed by Valerie Demo Photography, who did such a great job, and I also loved working alongside my good friend, Sterling, of Sterling Dawn Events, who planned their wedding day!!
