Christmas Recap + Looking Ahead for CIE!!

29

Dec

Hello! I hope you had a Merry Christmas (or a married Christmas) haha! Congratulations to all the newlywed couples out there that had their first married Christmas together! I did, with my husband Jason, and it was so much fun!! We had a blast shopping for each of our family members and friends and spending time with them this past week. We both have such great families, and I never want to take them for granted. Our Christmas memories are so fun, like the Alexander Ornament Exchange, my dad stashing cash in our Christmas gifts (this year was a Pillow Pet) and seeing family that doesn’t live close by! One of my favorite Christmas morning memories was opening up the custom vendor apron my mom made for CIE! I was SO excited to open that!!

I’m LOVING this break from my teaching job to really refine some Courtney Inghram Events business stuff! I have given my website a little update, and I signed on with Lauren Perry Studios to get a new logo and brand refresh in February!!! I have also been working on my client gifts and sent some out to brides today! 🙂 You just CANNOT go wrong with Kate Spade!! I have also been updating my 2016 Client Guide, preparing some floral design proposals and working on details for my next styled shoot next month! It will at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, and filled with lush greenery, vintage furniture from Water’s Edge Design (Julia ROCKS!) and a golden doodle puppy!! Can you tell that I am excited?!

I also want to extend a congratulations to all the newly engaged couples!! This is SUCH an exciting time in your life (it was for me!!) and I just want to encourage you to spend some time soaking it all in! It goes by fast!! If you need assistance with planning or floral design, I would be honored to serve you on your wedding day, and work with you along the way! Also, don’t forget to spend some time staring at that pretty, shiny sparkler on your left hand! 😉

Jason and I are also headed up to Richmond this week for some apartment hunting. We are so excited to be relocating in June, and I definitely need some recommendations for places to eat and good coffee shops!! (Starbucks is a given) Anyone?!
